Unconventional NaNoWriMo and Certifiable

So, last May I began an online course to become a coach. Two days ago I turned in my last assignment. I’ve been working like crazy – 10 to 12 hours a day for the past week – to get my last few assignments done.

The next step in this journey to be a certified coach is to do two 30-minute coaching sessions with two volunteer clients. Since I want to be an ARTbundance Practitioner as well (a practitioner is certified to give workshops, teach teleclasses, speak at venues, etc.), I also have to do a one-hour presentation via teleclass.

I have working so hard and it has been so rewarding to see that hard work pay off! Right after I submitted my last assignment, I sent an email saying that I’m ready to receive my two volunteer coaching clients. I want to keep this ball in motion while I still have the momentum! I am “riding that wild donkey!” as Leonie would say. I got an email the next morning with information on my two volunteer clients! I’m going to contact them today.

With all this going on, I haven’t written any more on my novel. I did, however, have two 15 minute writing sprints – one with my daughter and one with my daughter-in-law – and I wrote 1657 words on an e-book I’m working on! I’ll be using some of the content from the e-book for my presentation. So, I’m really happy about that!

I wonder if I should put that word count on my NaNoWriMo stats . . . I can be a Rebel! Why the heck not, right?

How is your writing going?
